Afghanistan Visa Requirements for Indians

Documents Required

  Valid Passport

  A validity of at least 6 months from the date of travel.

  Visa Application Form

  To be filled and signed by the applicant.

  2 Recent Coloured Photograph (Fresh ones i.e. not used earlier for any visa) should be:

  Dimensions (35mm x 45mm), on matte finish paper, background (White), non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering], 80% face coverage, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background not previously used in a visa.

  Covering Letter

  Addressed to Embassy of The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

  Invitation letter

  Approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan.

• •

  Polio Vaccination Certificate

  Issued at least 1 month prior the date of travel is must.

  Note:

  Tourist Visas are generally not preferred.
