Common Requirements for All Visa Types

These documents are required for all visa types at Mumbai consulate:

Proof of Funds

  • Bank Statement

    Copy of applicants bank statements for the last six months, certified or attested by the bank

  • Income Tax Returns

    Last 3 years Tax papers personal

  • Credit card copy

    Copy of an international credit card (if available).

Occupation Proof

  • If you are an employee

    Applicants salary slip must be presented in original with company stamp

Visa Type Specific Requirements

Business Visa

Personal documents

  • Valid passport

    Passport must be valid for a minimum of six (6) months from the intended date of entry and have at least two (2) completely free pages left,

  • Visa Form

    Please fill two copies of the form. 3 Separate pages , handwritten by by blue ink. All questions must be answered and the form must be signed by the applicant. Incomplete or incorrect forms will not be accepted.

  • Passport Size Photo

    2 Recent Photograph (Fresh ones i.e. NOT used earlier for any visa) (4 x 4 cm). White background

  • Aadhar Card

Travel documents

  • Confirmed bookings

    Hotel reservation in Argentina: either paid in full or guaranteed by a credit card

  • Confirmed Air Tickets

    Ticket copy

  • Travel Insurance

Business Documents

  • If going to a Trade Fair

  • If the applicant is going to a Trade Fair, Congress (commercial/economic issues) or Exhibition, he must accredit the inscription of the fair or exhibition to which the applicant is going to attend in the RENURE.

  • Personal Interview: All visa applicants need to send all scanned copy of documents to the consulate and take the appointment

Fees

Rs. 16400/- for Normal Processing Rs. 20160 for Urgent Processing (Decision for urgent processing is taken by the Embassy at the time of interview). E-Visa 400 USD All fee needs to be paid in Cash at the time of submission (before interview) and is non-refundable Handling charges applicable.

Processing Time

3 weeks E-Visa - Minimum 20 working days NOTE: Please note that above is only an indicative processing time which is based on the current trend. Actual processing time may vary and is at sole discretion of the Visa Consular of the Embassy/Consulate. 1000 HRS TILL 1300 HRS 1300 HRS TILL 1430 HRS. (2 WORKING DAYS)

Tourist Visa

Personal documents

  • Visa Form

    1 Form- . Visa application form (1): The visa form must be 3 separate pages, hand-written by the applicant in BLUE INK

  • Passport Size Photos

    Two passport size coloured Photograph 4cm x 4cm (Fresh ones i.e. NOT used earlier for any visa) with white background and 80% face coverage.

  • Cover Letter

    Covering letter (a copy translated in Spanish Language) specifying, dates of travel, cost bearer of the trip, reason of travel, accomodation clause etc. Covering Letter should be addressed to The Consulate of Argentina.

  • Aadhaar card copy

    Mandatory

E-Visa Information

  • If the applicant wants to apply for a sticker visa only, then the applicant has to give a declaration form stating that `If the Consulate calls the applicant for an interview, then the applicant has no obligation regarding it and will appear for the interview.`
