Chile visa requirements checklist for Delhi consulate

Personal Documents

  • Valid Passport

    With at least 6 months validity from the date of travel.

  • Signed Visa Form

    1 Form (To be done online by pax, through the website https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl). All documents also need to be uploaded while making the visa application online.

  • Passport Size Photo

    Fresh ones i.e. Not used earlier for any visa (white background).

  • Signed Cover Letter

    Addressed to Embassy Of Chile.

Travel Documents

  • Confirmed Hotel Bookings

    The hotel voucher should include hotel Name, Address, Telephone no and Email ID of the hotel.

  • Confirmed Air Tickets

    The PNR should be live. It should include all the sectors.

Proof of Funds

  • Bank Statement

    Original Bank statement of last 3 months stamped from Bank (Personal).

  • Income Tax Returns

    Last 2 years ITR (Personal).

Occupation Proof

  • If you are an employee

    Last 3 months salary slips.

    NOC from Company.

  • If you are proprietor/owner of the company

    Original Bank statement of last 3 months stamped from Bank (Company).

    ITR of Last 2 years (Company). Company proof (GST/ Incorporation certificate/Partnership Deed etc). Cover letter on company’s Letterhead.

Note

  • Personal Appearance of Applicants is mandatory at the time of submission and collection.

    Plase note that applicant has to mention his/her Email ID, Mobile/Direct Landline number, and Educational Qualifications either on the Covering Letter or at the backside of the Visa Application Form.

  • The applicant MAY be called for a personal interview.

    In case, any applicant is unable to come personally to the Embassy for the submission of fee receipt and/or for collection of passport, then Applicant has to write an email to the Chile Embassy stating reason for inability to come personally to the Embassy.

  • Embassy will check with their concerned ministry and may allow exemption only after receiving approval from their concerned ministry.

    In case of approval from the Embassy, the applicant needs to give a formal authority letter on stamp paper as per details mentioned on our website and Mondy shall perform on applicant’s behalf accordingly.

  • With effect from 1st April 2019, all Indian passport holders having a valid U.S.A. visa (with validity of 6 months or above) do not require a Chilean Tourist visa. Period of stay will be decided by the immigration upon arrival.

    PLEASE NOTE

  • Passport validity should be more than 6 months at the time of travel.

    Applicants should have enough financial support for their stay in Chile.

  • Purpose of travel is tourism only.

Fees & Processing Time

Visa Fees

Single Entry Fees Rs. 3378/- Multiple Entry Fees Rs 9893/-. To be deposited in Kotak Bank after Embassy issues a fee slip. Handling Charges applicable. Onlining charges are applicable in addition to Handling Charges. Please note that the Embassy Fee keeps on changing every month depending on the International currency rates.

Processing Time

10 to 15 working days as cases are referred. NOTE: Please note that above is only an indicative processing time which is based on the current trend. Actual processing time may vary and is at sole discretion of the Visa Consular of the Embassy/Consulate. 09:30am To 11:30am 11:30am To 12:30pm
