Common Requirements for All Visa Types
These documents are required for all visa types at Delhi consulate:
Personal Documents
Valid passport
With minimum 6 months validity from the date of travel. (With all old passports)
Passport Copy
All pages photocopies.
Signed Visa Form
1 form
Passport Size Photo
Fresh ones i.e. not used earlier for any visa (35mm x 45mm in dimension, With White background, with 80% face coverage, non-smiling [without glasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background])
Signed Cover letter
Addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of Costa Rica including the following information: full name, nationality, passport number, type and validity, address, purpose of the trip, expected time of stay in Costa Rica, approximate dates of arrival and departure and expected ports of entry and exit, occupation, address in Costa Rica, date and place of birth, fax or email address for notifications, date and signature.
Original Marriage certificate
Copy of both sides (duly apostilled from Ministry of External Affairs) and its official translation into Spanish (duly apostilled from Ministry of External Affairs).
Original PCC
From passport Office with Apostle and its official translation into Spanish duly apostilled
Travel Documents
Confirmed Hotel bookings
The hotel voucher should include hotel Name, Address, Telephone no and Email. Id of the hotel
Confirmed Air Tickets
The PNR should be live. It should include all the sectors.
Proof of Funds
Bank Statement
Original Bank statement of last 6 months Stamped from Bank (Personal)
Income Tax Returns
Last 3 years ITR (Personal)
Occupation Proof
If you are an employee
Last 3 months salary slips NOC from Company
If you are proprietor/owner of the company
Original Bank statement of last 6 months Stamped from Bank (Company) ITR of Last 3 years (Companyl) Company proof (GST/ Incorporation certificate/Partnership Deed etc) Cover letter on company’s Letterhead

Business Visa
Business Documents
Invitation
Original / copy Invitation stating that invitee company shall be responsible for sending back the passenger before the expiry of visa
Copy of the ID card of the Signing Authority, Who signed the invitation.
Company’s Covering letter
Addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of Costa Rica on Company / Business Letter Head with following details - full name, nationality, passport number, type and validity, address, purpose of the trip, expected time of stay in Costa Rica, approximate dates of arrival and departure and expected ports of entry and exit, occupation, address in Costa Rica, date and place of birth, fax or email address for notifications, date and signature and who will be responsible of its payment.

Addressing visa officer and authorizing Mr. Arjun Singh of M/S Mondy India Tours Pvt Ltd to submit and collect the passport on behalf of passenger.
Note
Please note that the Embassy has 30 days to analyze the visa application, make sure that all the documents presented are updated till another 15 working days.
Embassy may ask for interview
Note
If applicant holds a USA visa (having validity more than 6 months), he/she can stay in Costa Rica for maximum 30 days.
However, Embassy recommends to get this confirmed with embassy prior to travel by sending a scan copy of the visa and the biographical page of the passport to concr-in@rree.go.cr . Embassy shall check your visa and confirm whether you can travel to Costa Rica basis of your USA Visa or you would need to get the visa stamped from Costa Rica Embassy before travel. On arrival, visitors will be asked to present their passports with a validity of at least 6 months and show that they have means to support their expenses while in Costa Rica and that they hold a return ticket. Please make sure that these documents are carried with. This regulation allows visitors to stay in Costa Rica for a maximum of 30 days; however, the actual number of days will be determined by the Immigration Officer at arrival.
