Common Requirements for All Visa Types
These documents are required for all visa types at Delhi consulate:
Travel Documents
Confirmed Hotel bookings
Confirmed Hotel as per the ticket (with hotel Name, Address, Telephone number and Email. Id). (Except for GTA Hotel Bookings)
Confirmed Air Tickets
Return ticket, covering all the sectors. Travel Date should be 20 days after submission Date
Travel Insurance
It should be as per Schengen specification, matching with ticket dates with risk coverage of Euro 30,000. For downloading the list of Approved Insurance Companies and detailed information on Travel Insurance please visit our visa forms section of our website. Travel Insurance should have special condition The geographical area for this policy stands changed to worldwide.
Proof of Funds
Bank Statement
Latest Personal Bank Statement (Original) last 6 months i.e. sealed and signed by Bank Authorities.
Income Tax Return
Personal ITR For Last 3 years
Occupation Proof
If you are an employee
Last 3 months salary slips
If you are proprietor/owner of the company
Company’s Original Bank statement of last 6 months Stamped from Bank Company’s ITR of Last 3 years Company proof (GST/ Incorporation certificate/Partnership Deed etc) Cover letter on company’s Letterhead

Business Visa
Personal Documents
If PAX has not travelled to Schengen for the last last 3 years and PAX holds blank PPTs, then education degree is required.
Business Documents
Invitation letter
From the Icelandic Company containing Name, Purpose, Dates and nature of cost.
Company Cover Letter
Covering Letter on company letter head (addressed to Embassy of Iceland) with mentioning duration of visit, purpose of visit, expenses clause .Details of all Applicants with name, passport number, If Applicable
BIOMETRIC MANDATORY for all Applicants w.e.f. 02-Nov-2015. (Please see instructions below)
Medical Requirement
Travel Insurance as per Schengen specification, matching with ticket dates with risk coverage of Euro 30,000. For downloading the list of Approved Insurance Companies and detailed information on Travel Insurance please visit our visa forms section of our website.
Fees
Visit visa (30days-1 yr) - Rs. 8076- ( to be paid online) Child - Rs.3120/- ( to be paid online) VFS Charges Rs 3000/- (payable in cash).
Processing Time
10-15 working days NOTE Please note that above is only an indicative processing time which is based on the current trend. Actual processing time may vary and is at sole discretion of the Visa Consular of the Embassy/Consulate.
Tourist Visa
Personal Documents
If PAX has not travelled to Schengen for the last last 3 years and PAX holds blank PPTs, then education degree is required.
For honeymooners
Marriage certificate or Marriage Card
Copy of marriage certificate is required.
Engagement /Marriage Photograph
2-3 photographs of the bride and groom together are required.
Note: If bride or groom is not employed, then the Financials of the parents are required (Check According to the above-mentioned occupations)
For Minors
If any parent not travelling with the child, the parent (who is not travelling) is required to explain the exact reason for the same
Business Documents
