Luxembourg Visa Requirements at Delhi Consulate

Valid passport

must not be older than 10 years also it must be valid for at least THREE MONTHS longer than the intended stay. The passport must also have at least TWO BLANK PAGES to affix the visa and should be along with all old passport booklets. Handwritten passports, Passports with observation and passports of 20-year validity are NOT acceptable.

Photograph (Fresh ones i.e. NOT used earlier for any visa) in matt finish (Latest one passport size, coloured with white background, 35mmX45mm with 80% face coverage) without glasses, hat/cap or any other head covering.

Company Cover letter

Covering letter on a business letterhead (original) from your employer stating your position, the length of your service, and the same as above. For self-employed people: excerpt from the company register or similar document.

Invitation Letter

Invitation letter from the inviting company in Luxembourg on company paper stating the purpose of the visit (including the complete business program with planned visits and/or meetings to attend), dates of travel, name, date of birth & passport number of the person invited and informing who covers the travel and/or accommodation expenses.

Company Bank statement

Company bank statements, including the name and signature of the bank branch manager, of the last three months if the inviting/employing company pays for the cost of travelling (as per VFS website)

Addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of Luxembourg mentioning duration of visit, purpose of visit, expenses clause .Details of all Applicants with name, passport number, If Applicable

Covering letter on a business letterhead (original) from your employer/company/school stating your position, the length of your service and the confirmation that the adequate leave/vacation has been granted.

Bank Statement

Latest Personal Bank Statement (Original) last 3 months i.e. sealed and signed by Bank Authorities.

Income Tax Return

Personal ITR For Last 2 years

Letter from your bank (original) stating credit limit on your credit card (as per VFS)

If you are an employee

If you are retired

Proof of retirement Pension statements for the last three months Proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business.

If you are sponsored

Proof of sponsorship and/or private accommodation by completing a national form of the Schengen State concerned (see the website of the Member State of destination)

If bride or groom is not employed, then the Financials of the parents are required (Check According to the above-mentioned occupations)

If minor is accompanied

If minor is accompanied by one parent/travelling alone shall provide a ATTESTED AFFIDAVIT from relevant home department is required.

Affidavit noc from other parent side, if only one parent is traveling along with child. Child birth certificate should be notarized Minors under the age of 18 if traveling alone have to provide a written consent certified by public notary of both parents or guardians having the custody of the minor. If traveling with one parent only, a written consent certified by public notary of the other parent or guardian is required. Copy of identification documents of the parent(s) having custody, bearing their signature.

Valid passport

National passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel to Luxembourg and with at least 2 blank pages available + 1 copy of the data page of the passport.

Passport Size Photos

Three recent passport size photographs in colour on white background. One photo should be pasted (not stapled) on the form, one on a copy of the form and the other photo to be given along with the application.
