Original Passport (Old and New) valid for 6 months.

Online visa form duly filled with barcode with three signatures on visa form [For online form, please visit https://videx.diplo.de/ along with 2 copies of declaration form and courier form- Sample visa application form attached

Photocopy of Passport front and last page copy

Two Recent Photographs white background, without border, 35mm x 45mm, 80% of the face should be seen (Should be without glasses; with glasses, the photo will not be accepted). Photographs should not be older than 6 months.

Personal Cover letter to The Visa Officer, Embassy of Germany mentioning duration of visit, purpose of visit, expenses clause. Details of all Applicants with name, passport number, if applicable.

Proof of Civil Status

Not required if spouse's name is endorsed on the passport

Birth certificate of children (If applicable)

Ration Card (If applicable)

Confirmed Hotel as per the ticket (with hotel Name, Address, Telephone number, and Email ID).

Return ticket, covering all the sectors. The ticket should have a gap of at least 15 working days from the date of submission.

Daily Schedule of the trip.

It should be as per Schengen specification, matching with ticket dates with risk coverage of Euro 30,000. Latest Personal Bank Statement (Original) last 6 months i.e., sealed and signed by Bank Authorities.

Last 3 months salary slips

If you are Sponsored

If sponsored by somebody from Germany for a tourist visa, then the consulate requires an original sponsorship letter.

Copy of marriage certificate is required.

2-3 photographs of the bride and groom together are required.

If bride or groom is not employed, then the Financials of the parents are required (Check According to the above-mentioned occupations).

NOTARIZED NOC from other/both parents with their passport copy.

If minor is traveling with parents or without parents, then a consent letter is mandatory.

Power of Attorney Form (Annexure A): This is an Authority Letter from the Pax authorizing Mr. Pavan/Jagdish/Vasudevan of Mondy (only required if biometric is already done for previous Schengen visa) to submit the documents on their behalf.

Embassy has stopped accepting passports that are handwritten or have any observation on the front data page. Hence, all such passport holders are requested to get a fresh passport booklet to apply for a Visa.

Important Instructions for Biometric

Biometric will be valid for 59 months. Travelers who have undergone biometric for Schengen country after 2nd November 2015, will NOT NEED to undergo biometric for their next Schengen travel within the next 59 months.
