To apply for your japan tourist visa from bangalore, you'll need to submit the following documents to the consulate. Make sure all documents are valid and meet the specifications.
1Personal Documents
- Valid PassportWith at least 6 month validity from the date of travel.
- Visa FormVisa Form (TYPED only) signed by the applicant. No Handwritten forms will be accepted. To be printed on separate sheets NOT back to back. The signature should be as per the signature on the passport. If the signature is not as per the passport, then the case shall not be accepted.

- Japan Embassy has made it mandatory to provide Applicant's email id and Mobile number in the visa form. As there is no E-mail option available in the Visa application form, it has to be mentioned after Applicant' residential address.If husband and wife are travelling together, then their names should be endorsed in the passports or a marriage certificate is required.
2Travel Documents
- Hotel ConfirmationHotel voucher as per the ticket (with hotel Name, Address, Telephone number, and Email ID).
- Air Ticket ReservationThe PNR should be live. It should include all the sectors.
- Day to day tour itineraryOrganized by a tour operator registered with the Government of India and designated by the Japanese side will enjoy a simplified procedure. 3Proof of Funds
- Bank StatementLatest Personal Bank Statement (Original) last 6 months i.e. sealed and signed by Bank Authorities. (must be printed on A4 sheet only)
- Income Tax ReturnPersonal ITR For Last 2 years
4Occupation Proof
- If you are an EmployeeLast 3 months salary slips, NOC from company
